Contributed as a founding representative towards the establishment of the NPO, Japanese Association for the Advancement of Science (JAAS)
I served as the founding representative of the Japanese Association for the Advancement of Science (JAAS), an NPO established in February 22, 2022.
JAAS is a bottom-up organization that transcends boundaries pertaining to fields, organizations, jobs/job classifications, nationalities/ethnicities, and generations. With the slogan “Invigorating science in Japan,” it welcomes all people involved in science. In order to create a bright future for science in Japan, a wide array of people with the desire to promote science must communicate and collaborate with each other.
